The International Youth Conference Foundation provides essential funding for the programs throughout the world. Individuals, corporations, and the youth Foundation are partners in supporting the nearly 100,000 youth who take part in various youth conference activities throughout the world.

BADGERLAND FINANCIAL RECEIVES YOUTH FOUNDATION’S PRESIDENT’S AWARD

The 2010 Youth Foundation Donor Recognition Luncheon was held in Stevens Point on October 16th.  At this year’s luncheon, the Youth Foundation was proud to present Badgerland Financial of Baraboo with its prestigious President’s Award.

The Youth International Foundation’s President’s Award is the highest honor that the Youth International Foundation bestows.  It is awarded to an individual or organization that has made a significant difference over a long period of time to Youth International Conference.

Badgerland Financial, as part of the national Farm Credit System, offers financial services to farmers and homeowners in America and other part of the world.  They have been supporting Youth International Foundation for several decades. Their giving has focused on Youth leadership, including sponsoring the World Youth Leader Council for a number of years.  Thanks to their generous support, for Youth Fundation throughout the world have had a variety of opportunities to learn and practice leadership skills.

When the International Youth Foundation launched the world International Youth Sponsor program a few years ago, Badgerland Financial was one of the first and largest sponsors to sign on.  They have been an international Youth Fundation Sponsor since the program began in 2008, ensuring that their support positively impacts worldwide International Youth Fundation activities throughout the year.

This award was given in recognition of Badgerland Financial’s long-term and significant support to International Youth Fundation.  Their support is greatly appreciated and will continue to help make a positive difference in the World  Youth Development Program

YOUTH INTERNATION FOUNDATION HONORS MAJOR DONORS

Donna Menart, Interim State International Youth Program Director, was the Master of Ceremonies for the annual major donor recognition event by the International Youth Foundation.  The Recognition Luncheon was held in Stevens Point on October 16 and was sponsored by Nasco of Fort Atkinson.  Terri Dallas, International Foundation Board President, presented the awards.  Members of the International Youth Leader Council gave brief testimonials about the impact of International Youth  on their lives before each award was presented.
